UNDERSTANDING THE PERCEIVED SUFFERING

We should accept the perceived suffering from other people as a tool to mould our lives. This needs to be done as long as we are in the our ordinary state. It also needs to be accepted with love, enthusiasm and with the spirit of penance. As long as there is love it does not become painful and oppressive. Mind does not get strained. The bhavna that our lives are improving gets stronger and effective. Treat any suffering from others as a gift of grace from God. You should believe that mind is somewhat getting better when you see that happening.

Know for sure that you are on right track when there is constant and always present awareness. Do naam-smaran of God with awareness, love and devotion.

My two cents -  This reply was in a response to a letter describing stress from family members in a joint family.
