Question : Mota, What is bhava-darshan and aakruti-darshan?
Pujya Shree Mota : We try to establish in our hearts bhava for the Sadhguru or the physical form (photo or statue) of the God that we believe in with reverence and worship. After sometime the bhava gets established in the heart to the extent that there is concrete presence of that photo at the place of the heart and in front of mind's eye, even if there is no physical presence of the photo. I give the name "aakruti- darshan" for this sadhana and its results.
Bhava darshan is a higher stage of the development. There is awakening of bhava that this subtle visualization of our revered person is the expressed form of God within us, meaning God always resides in our hearts. I call this darshan as bhava- darshan whenever such bhava is awakened in our minds and stays in our hearts permanently.
It is considered progress in the sadhana of bhava-darshan when we do not see or think the person as a revered preson but recognize with our hearts that it is the bhava of divine consciousness. Sadhana of bhava-darshan is considered to be accomplished when we experience only the subtle bhava behind that person(instead of that person) and in the end we become the experience itself. We will experience this subtle bhava everywhere afterwards.
