REFLECTION, CONTEMPLATION AND NIDIDHYASANA

Hari Om

Kumbhkonam,
March 29, 1952.

Reflection, contemplation and nididhyansana all three must go on within us. I do not know if you know the meaning of reflection, contemplation and Nididhyasana and you have not asked me about it either. I took it for granted that you must have known its meaning but apparently not.

Reflection means constant effort to stay in the smaran-bhavna (constantly remembering) of god all the time with and within mind with awareness.

Contemplation means constant mental awareness and focus on the ideal of life's development; a process to steady mental attention in the center of the ideal of life's development by bringing the wandering mind back and focused on it. Sadhak needs to do this process repeatedly with awareness.

Nididhyasana: It includes a perceptible and practical process to offer thoughts, vrutties, feelings, intention, heartfelt sincerity, all the activities, all the worldly relations, all the works, physical and subtle processes of the body with love and devotion.

How is it possible to do all these without awareness?
