SADHANA MEANS HARMONY OF PATHS OF DEVOTION, KNOWLEDGE, DHYAN AND ACTION.

Devotion means flood of Bhavna; Knowledge is purpose; Dhyan means focus and concentration; Karma or action means channel to express all these appropriately and harmoniously. As there is expression of energy, Bhavna, and inspiration from Sadhana, all these must be expressed in action. For example, when there is increased expression of Bhakti, there will be increased Love-Bhava in Sadhak. Sadhak must expand this Love-Bhava and express it in people who have come in his contact (on their own) or because of destiny or because of some specific reason. Only then Sadhak gets the measure of effectiveness of this Love-Bhava. Sadhak cannot remain just one sided. He has undertaken the huge task to express all pervading Mahaa-Prabhuji within him. If the Sadhak wants to touch the Lila of Mahaa-Prabhuji, he must express this Bhavna of love in everyone who has come in his contact.

Expressing Bhavna in action and performing proper action according to Bhavna is Bhakti or devotion. It is knowledge (gnyaana) when there is expression of knowledge and awareness of the purpose of the work while the work is being done. Karma Yoga means the work is being done in such a way that there is progress in life. In this way, Karma, devotion and knowledge are never separate from each other.

There is no field in the Sansar where one cannot do Sadhana of Bhagwan. It is not possible to break up different parts of Sadhana. Knowledgeable and religious people may have separated this in way of knowledge, way of devotion, way of Dhyan and way of Karma, but it is just for the understanding. In reality they are intermingled. Nothing is separate from anything. There is a belief in Sansar that there is no connection between Sadhana of Bhagwan and worldly affairs. This belief in our people does not seem to be proper.

DISCOVERY OF SADHANA (2)

Present life with Jiva-Nature has Prakruti and that Prakruti means duality and Gunas (innate qualities). Duality means pair of Gunas that are opposite to each other e.g Happiness-misery, light-darkness, sin-credit (punya), good intention-bad intention etc. Gunas means Satwa, Rajas and Tamas. There is always conflict because of such arrangement of Prakruti. When there is conflict, human beings think and try to understand it. When there is easy, peaceful and happy circumstances human beings never think about it. When there are incidents causing conflicts, lack of peace in mind, obstacles, puzzles, questions etc, arise in the life of human being because of duality, human mind tends to look for the solution of these problems. Human beings may have thought, 'Is not it nice if human being's mind and other internal senses stayed completely fresh, balanced, peaceful, equanimous and stayed just as a witness during all these conflicts?' Human beings have tried many experiments to find the solution of this problems and living life peacefully. During the different times in past, they have carried out series of attempts to find the solution but there is no historical records.

DISCOVERY OF SADHANA (1)

Human beings have thought about Aananda and Happiness from the time of early evolution till present time. The reason being, it is connected with living life and Aananda cannot be separate from life. Some people of the society must have thought deeply about the ways to live life while keeping this Aananda (like waterfall in its original form) constantly. Many mainstream religions have thought about and found the ways, to develop the tools to develop the highest quality Bhavnas in the human beings. Furthermore they also thought about the changes that can happen in life by following these higher quality Bhavnas. Their aim was to find the ways to live life where the Aananda persists throughout the life without interruption. We need to think about experiencing such life with constant Aananda presently (with present Jiva-Nature). Our Jiva-Nature is guided by the Prakruti at present, This also leads to development of many kind of Rasas (happiness from fulfilling our worldly desires), but this happiness is not original or forever. Presently human mind must be yearning to develop true Aananda that is constant, natural and forever, without any interruption. Many methods of Sadhana and many transitional ways must have developed from such thoughts to experience such Aananda.
