બહુ  દોષ  તારા  અરે !  મેં  બતાવ્યા,
વળી  વાંક  તારા  હજારો  ગણાવ્યા,
છતાં  હું  પિછાનું  ગુણો  શક્તિ  તારી,
ઊંભો  રૈ '  શક્યો  છું  સહાયે  જ  તારી.  ---------- (૫૬)
