Staying with holy people also provides good effects on the atmosphere. This happens only if we have expression of faith, trust, great respect, love and devotion within us towards such holy people. This heartfelt relationship cements itself automatically since there is Bhava of goodness mutually, and if we do not separate from them because of our ignorance, (meaning we fail to make constant efforts and our Bhava of goodness - respect do not disappear for some reasons) this relationship stays for life and we continue to be affected with it, even if our mind agrees or disagrees with it.
This requires more purity and holiness of Gunas (good qualities) than required in the path of development of life. For this reason, measures of the Sadhak are somewhat different from other human beings. It is very necessary for him to see that there is absolutely no presence of any thoughts or feelings of lack of faith or the absence of Bhava of goodness in his mind towards the person who is his guide. Such vision and purity can come from only such good atmosphere. To create good atmosphere, it is an easier path to increase the strength of good than trying to remove bad. There is no doubt that whoever has the strength can create good atmosphere, the reason being evil tendencies cannot defeat or compete with his mind. It is not that, there is no interference by the evil in the efforts to preserve good atmosphere. In the fight between good and bad, good always wins and it lasts for longer time.
